LOOKING FOR A MORE AFFORDABLE AND EFFICIENT WAY TO HANDLE YOUR CROSS-CONNCTION AND BACKFLOW PREVENTION DESIGNS?

MEP Professional Engineering firms charge an average of $3,000 to $6,000 for end-to-end design, stamp, and submission. This is due to all the expenses a firm requires such as employee payroll, office rent, and profession fees. By partnering with us, you gain specialized expertise in code-compliant designs at a fraction of the cost. We provide high-quality, accurate designs and comprehensive consulting tailored to your project’s needs. Then, we’ll handle the submission process with one of our trusted Professional Engineers who can offer a sign/seal and submission service at a significantly lower rate, often cutting the overall project cost by 30-50%. This approach saves you time and money, while ensuring you get the compliant and effective results you need.

HOW WE WORK

1.) The property owner contacts us regarding the property they wish to have a backflow preventer installed. CADCROSS drafts a proposal specifying the scope of work for the project. After an agreement, CADCROSS begins the risk assessment for the property.(*a)

2.) After thoroughly assessing the properties risk of cross-contamination, gathering all the necessary building information, documentation, and DOB approved plans (if applicable), CADCROSS produces an accurate design and evaluation. During this time, CADCROSS will also coordinate with the property owner for their desired Master Plumber & Professional Engineer

3.) Once the design drawings are complete and ready for submission, a Professional Engineer confirms the design with his/her seal and signature and submits the plans to the Department of Environmental Protection.

4.) The approval process can take 4 to 6 weeks. In some cases, longer if the DEP has work overload or request for additional information. CADCROSS will communicate between the property owner and the approving agency to maintain a steady approval process.

5.) CADCROSS coordinates with the Master Plumber to confirm that the correct device, valves and other necessary equipment has been acquired. This
